THAT'S THE THING ABOUT LA

Grab a good thing before it's gone. I am ruminating on that this morning as I push the noodles around in my bowl. I love yakisoba. I learned to eat it at this wee wonderful, homestyle Japanese place in WestLA. Sadly, these noodles are not from there - because that restaurant is closed. Gone. The noodles in my bowl are terrible. They in no way even resemble yakisoba. Sigh.

I suppose I can still work on all that goat cheese from last night anyway.
